Privacy policy

This policy explains what information TruckEver ("we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to truckever.com and its pages. It does not cover the websites of brokers, partners or anyone else we link to; they have their own policies.

We keep this short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, use our contact page and we'll explain.

The short version

• We collect what you type into our forms so we can answer you: usually your name, phone, email and details about your truck.
• We use it to contact you about dispatch, your factoring request or your message. We don't sell it.
• Our calculators, quizzes and saved inputs stay in your own browser. We don't receive them.
• We use a small number of service providers to run the site and send email, and they only get what they need.
• You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

Information you give us

Dispatch application. Your name, mobile phone number, email, best time to call, the type of truck you run, how many trucks, whether you hold a CDL, your authority status and age, your MC or DOT number if you share it, your home base or lanes, and any notes you add.

Factoring quote request (when that form is available). Contact details plus your monthly invoice volume, number of trucks, MC or DOT number if you share it, whether you factor today and what matters to you in a factoring company.

Contact form. Your name, email, optional phone number, the topic you pick and your message.

You choose what to send. Some fields are required so we can reach you; the forms say which.

Information collected automatically

Basic request data. Like most websites, our servers and our network provider receive technical data with each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. We use it to deliver pages, keep the site secure and stop abuse, for example by limiting how many form submissions come from one address in a minute.

Form context. When you send a form, we record the page you sent it from, the page that referred you, whether you were on a phone or a computer, and the time. This helps us understand which pages are useful.

Campaign tags. If you arrive through a link with campaign tags (UTM parameters, such as utm_source), we store those tags in a first-party cookie for 30 days so they can be attached to a form you send. The cookie contains only the tags, not personal details.

Spam protection. Our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser for that purpose under Cloudflare's own privacy terms.

Analytics. If we turn on website analytics, we use a privacy-focused service to count visits and see which pages are read, without building advertising profiles. We don't use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.

What stays in your browser

Many of our pages save things locally so they work better for you. Calculator inputs, quiz scores, the last tab you opened and a partly filled application are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not sent to us unless you submit a form. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser's site data. Some tools also put your inputs into the page address so you can share a result link; anyone you send that link to can see those inputs.

How we use information

• To contact you about the dispatch service, a factoring quote or your message, by phone, text or email, as you agreed on the form.
• To decide which of our services fits your truck and situation, including which fee tier applies.
• To send you a confirmation that we received your form.
• To run, secure and improve the website, including fixing errors and preventing spam and fraud.
• To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

• Email delivery. We use Resend to send form alerts to our team and confirmation emails to you. Resend processes the content of those emails for us.
• Hosting and network. Our hosting provider and Cloudflare carry and protect site traffic.
• Our own tools. We may copy form submissions into our own customer records, such as a spreadsheet or CRM, so a dispatcher can follow up.
• Our factoring partner, only if you ask. If you request a factoring quote, we pass your request to our factoring partner, RTS Financial, so they can quote you. We don't share dispatch applications or contact messages with them.
• Brokers, only with your go-ahead. If you become a dispatch customer, we share your carrier packet (authority, insurance certificate, W-9 and similar documents) with the brokers you agree to work with. That happens under your dispatch agreement, not through this website.
• Legal reasons. If the law requires it, or to protect people's safety or our rights.

Text messages and calls

If you check the consent box on our dispatch form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text and email, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us on a call or by email and we'll stop.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions as long as we need them to talk with you, provide the service, keep business records and meet legal requirements. If you don't become a customer, we delete or anonymize old inquiries once they're no longer useful. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you,
• correct it,
• delete it, unless we must keep it for a legal reason,
• stop contacting you.

Send the request through our contact page. We may need to confirm it's really you before we act. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights, and we will honor them.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site, limit who on our team can see form submissions, and use reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive documents like bank details or driver's license images through our website forms. A dispatcher will tell you a safe way to send documents if you become a customer.

Children

This website is for adults running or thinking about trucking businesses. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Links to other sites

Our guides link to government agencies, truck makers, museums and other sources, and some pages link to partners through tracked referral links. When you leave our site, the other site's privacy policy applies. Our disclosure page explains our partner relationships.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Big changes will be stated plainly here.
