Terms of use

Updated October 2026

These terms cover your use of truckever.com (the "site"), run by TruckEver ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

These are website terms only. They are not the agreement for our dispatch service. If you become a dispatch customer, a separate written dispatch agreement sets out the service, the fee and how either side can end it, and that agreement controls the service.

What the site is

The site describes our truck dispatch service, offers guides about trucks, driving careers and trucking culture, and provides free calculators and checkers. It's for general information. Nothing on the site is a job offer, a loan or financing offer, an insurance product, or a promise of loads, rates or income.

Information, not professional advice

We work to keep every page accurate. Statistics, rules and records are sourced and show the date we checked them. Still:

  • Rules change. Federal regulations are updated, and states add their own rules on top. Our pages explain rules in plain words; the official text is what counts. Check the current regulation, your state's rules, or a qualified professional before you rely on a rule for a business or safety decision.
  • Statistics have dates. A figure is correct for the year and source shown next to it, not necessarily today.
  • Nothing here is legal, tax, accounting, insurance, medical or financial advice. For those, talk to a licensed professional who knows your situation.

Calculators and checkers

Our tools give estimates based on the numbers you enter and on assumptions we show on each page. Please read these limits:

  • They're estimates. Results depend on your inputs and on simplified models. Real costs, rates, taxes, weights and times vary.
  • Rule checkers are aids, not answers. The CDL checker, hours of service calculator, weight limit checker, dimension checker and similar tools help you understand federal rules. They don't account for every exception, state rule or permit. Confirm the result against the regulation, and in a roadside or compliance situation, the official rule and the officer's reading of it decide.
  • Tax tools are rough guides. Estimated tax tools use published rates for the year shown and simple assumptions. Use them to plan, not to file.
  • Examples are examples. Loads, weeks, rates and schedules marked EXAMPLE are illustrations, not real offers, averages or promises.

You use the results at your own risk, and you're responsible for decisions you make with them.

No guarantees about dispatch results

We describe how our dispatch service works and what it costs. We don't guarantee any number of loads, any rate, any income, or any time to a first load. Freight markets, broker approvals and your own choices all affect results. Every load we bring you is an offer you can accept or decline, and the agreement for each load is between your company and the broker on the rate confirmation.

Your use of the site

You agree not to:

  • use the site for anything unlawful, or to send spam or harmful code,
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the site or its forms,
  • scrape or copy large parts of the site by automated means, except normal search engine indexing,
  • submit someone else's information without their permission, or false information in our forms.

We may block access or remove submissions that break these rules.

Our content and how you can use it

The text, design, graphics, tools and code on the site belong to us or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use, and link to any page.

Some pages include a "Cite or embed this" box with ready-made code. You may use that code as given, keeping the credit link, to cite or embed that table or chart on your own site. For other uses, ask us first through the contact page.

Names of truck makers, songs, films, podcasts and other works are used only to identify them. They belong to their owners, and mentioning them doesn't mean they endorse us or that we're affiliated with them. We don't reproduce song lyrics.

Links and partner offers

The site links to government agencies, makers, museums and other sources so you can check our facts. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content.

Some links go to partners, and we may earn a referral fee if you sign up through them. Those links are labeled, and our disclosure page explains each relationship. Any product or service you buy from a partner is between you and that partner, under their terms.

Forms and communications

When you submit a form, you confirm that the information is yours and accurate. The consent you give on a form, for example to be contacted by phone, text and email, is described next to the checkbox and in our privacy policy. You can withdraw it at any time.

Disclaimer

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site, its information or its tools, even if we were told such damages were possible. Where the law doesn't allow these limits, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
